Imagine a bunch of artists traveling back and forth on the Staten Island Ferry creating music, dance, poetry and spectacle! It happened 50 years ago* and is happening once again!

3:30pm Manhattan performances in front of the Whitehall Ferry Terminal (near the NY Film Academy Cafe)

4:30pm performances on the ferry to S.I.

*The Annual Avant Garde Festival of New York was an event organized by performance artist Charlotte Moorman and ran for 15 years in various locations. The 5th festival was a 24 hour event, September 29 – 30, 1967 on the John F. Kennedy Staten Island Ferry boat.

Day de Dada Performance Art Collective wishes to bring recognition to that event which brought art to ferry commuters and tourists 50 years ago.
