Films on film, programmed by Bradley Eros, from the Mushroom Archive: [69 minutes total]

The pleasure of cinema manifests with a tactile exposure to actual celluloid and LIVE ACTS!

A lively, living mixed-media series of shorts featuring films from 1930s to 1970s curated by Mushroom Archives’ Bradley Eros. In keeping with Le Petit Versailles’ vanguard legacy of creative disruption, the evening will include avant garde movies—such as Killers of the Insect World and Woody Woodpecker & The Termites from Mars—live sound by LeLe aka Lullady, a radio collage soundtrack by Jeanne Liotta and a live soundtrack performance by Pinc Louds. Several films will be presented in silence with perfume scents & tasty treats. The program opens Reel Ecologies: Films for a Sustainable City: the outdoor festival of The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MoRUS) from September 10 – 13, 2020.Screen Shot 2020-08-31 at 6.43.01 AM

LuLLadyBio I make paintings, collages, films, digital videos and installations, in all of which I am aiming to explore the many possibilities that are either invisible or ignored. I conceive of my long-term project as the creation of a utopian zone, an instrument-as environment, a musical-influenced structure, that is part sonic architecture and part social sculpture, a combination of prepared instruments or found sonic objects that are also interacting with projections & performance. Conceptually, I perceive it as a platform in which to critique my social milieu, as well as to record and respond to my nightmares and visions. I intend to create an alternative site where creativity and ideas can cross boundaries so they can be exchanged and connected. My visual work and performances have been exhibited or shown at Greene-Naftali Gallery, David Zwirner Gallery, NYU, Tufts University, SUNY at Purchase, Children’s Museum of the Arts, Columbus Theater (Providence), Here Theater, Knockdown Center, Knitting Factory, Radiator Gallery, Harpy Gallery, CFCP Gallery, Secret Project Robot, Elsewhere, TransPecos, Synesthesia, Sunview Luncheonette, the Abasement series at Max Fish,Downtown Music Gallery, The Glove, and various other venues. I sometimes play secret shows at public spaces in New York City.
