LE PETIT VERSAILLES COMMUNITY GARDEN346 E. Houston St. / 247 E. 2nd St.RAIN OR SHINE"As a passage way between Houston and E. 2nd Street, the LPV garden seems to be in a parenthesis in time. My installation piece "Wind, Bladder, Sit, Green, Autumn.......'' was conceived for the joints and meridians of the people who will walk through the garden.I propose to share with the visitors certain postures and stretching movements that I practice in my studio in France and that make me feel better. These movements and postures are inspired or borrowed from Shiatsu, Yoga and and the practice of letting go. The visitor is invited to use the exercise mats to sit, stand or lie down following the diagram found on each of the different mats in order to stretch or take the indicated pose.July 2017 will perhaps be the month where the LPV will become a beneficial and regenerating passage way." - Isa BordatLearn more about the artist here: http://www.isabordat.net
