As the construction date for LPV’s renovation approaches a call is made to address how change and renewal impact on community ties and collective memory. We emphasize growth, building, planting, and fertilization, in addition to the watering, weeding, and  garden sitting for daily visitors that make LPV’s approach to NYC urban gardening a unique integration of creativity and eco sociality.
