Allied Productions, Inc. has been a vital resource for social change through art and activism since 1981. Run by queer radical engineers as an artist-run non-profit that fosters community building and collective process, Allied created Le Petit Versailles in 1995 - a community garden on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. LPV is a green public social space presenting live art, exhibitions, cinema, music, poetry, readings, public forums, and more. Mixing the new and the old, our publications include catalogues, programs, zines, fliers, posters and ephemera from our anti establishment past. Fomenting social justice - particularly in the areas of housing and public space - our current offerings push the boundaries of book making into the digital age embracing and harnessing the past with a love of physical taste, touch and smell that only hard copy can engender.
