Le Petit Versailles Garden Serenades/Bad Feminist ReadingsPlease join us for an evening of dark fairytales, which will unfold as music, projections, taxidermy, words, haunts and dreams. We will enthrall you with musical saw, voices, stories, strings, keys, reeds, bellows, costumes and hybrid creatures. C. Ryder Cooley is an inter-disciplinary musician, artist and performer. Weaving together chimeric visions with songs and projected imagery, she creates cinematic performances and installation spaces. Ryder has performed and collaborated with numerous bands, collectives and projects from San Francisco to New York, including Fall Harbor, Ruby Streak Trapeze, Samuael Topiary's Icarus, Sarah Falkner/Rewilderment, Radar Productions & Bindlestiff Circus. She has recordings available via Out of Round Records in San Francisco. carolynrydercooley.orgJasmine Dreame Wagner is the author of two chapbooks: Listening for Earthquakes(Caketrain Journal and Press, 2012) and CHARCOAL (For Arbors, 2008.) Her poems have appeared in American Letters & Commentary, Aufgabe, Blackbird, Colorado Review,Indiana Review, New American Writing, Verse, and The Arcadia Project: North American Postmodern Pastoral (Ahsahta Press, 2013.) Her fiction has appeared in the Seattle Reviewand Lost and Found: Stories from New York (Mr. Beller's Neighborhood Books, distributed by W.W. Norton, 2009.) A graduate of Columbia University and the University of Montana, Jasmine has received grants and fellowships from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Hall Farm Center for Arts & Education, Kultuuritehas Polymer, and The Wassaic Project.
